Minimizing Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Vapor Recovery Units – Our extensive use of Vapor Recover Units (VRUs) at our truck loading operations allows us to minimize emissions from terminal operations. We prioritize emission reduction through the use of VRUs to capture product vapor from the truck loading process, contributing to significant greenhouse gas emissions avoidance.
LHT Offsets 100% of Purchased Electricity
We are proud to highlight that 100% of the purchased electricity used at our facilities is offset through the retirement of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). These RECs are primarily generated from hydroelectric power generation stations, ensuring that our energy consumption is not contributing to net GHG emissions.
