Highspire, PA — [August 12, 2025] — From its headquarters in Highspire, Lucknow-Highspire Terminals (LHT) has once again demonstrated its commitment to community safety by donating life-saving bulletproof vests to the Steelton Borough Police Department. The type of vest donated has been credited with saving over 2,067 lives across the country.
The donation was presented by Joe Williams, LHT’s Chief Operating Officer, to Chief Bill Shaub, joined by Officer Anderson and Officer Etnoyer. The gesture underscores LHT’s belief in supporting the people and institutions that protect and serve the communities where the company operates.
“Steelton is more than a neighboring town—it’s part of who we are,” said Joe Williams. “We’re proud to stand with the men and women who serve every day, and we hope this donation provides both protection and peace of mind.”
Chief Shaub expressed his appreciation: “These vests are critical for officer safety. We’re grateful to LHT for recognizing that and stepping up in a big way to support our department and our mission.”
With 100 years of service behind it and 11 terminal locations across Pennsylvania, LHT remains committed to advancing safety both on-site and throughout the communities it calls home.
